The objective was for this library to uniquely embody the heart of this school and to inspire children to embrace the independent learning process.

 

E4 Architects reworked this elementary school library to create an inspired space that manages to celebrate the book and incorporate current technology.  The school strives to help each student achieve certain qualities as its true purpose- those eight objectives have been integrated as a central part of the design.

The entire space was brought alive with colorful walls, carpet tiles and proper lighting.  The school-wide learning objectives were placed throughout the library as a reminder of the greater purpose of the educational process.

 

The project was completed simply and efficiently with a minimal budget in a short time frame.
